Get to know Chris

I’ve been involved in the golf industry for over 25 years and have been a PGA Professional since 2006. During that time, I’ve worked across every area of a golf club—from coaching and retail management to administration—while continuing to play competitively.

I’ve been fortunate to win multiple tournaments as both an amateur and a professional, including the Worcestershire PGA County Strokeplay Championship on several occasions. This combination of playing experience and working within the industry gives me a well-rounded, practical understanding of the game—both on and off the course.

In 2023, I began studying Business and Marketing with Falmouth University, with the aim of expanding my knowledge and opening up new opportunities within golf and beyond.

Outside of golf, I’m a big sports fan. I was a season ticket holder at Aston Villa for many years and travelled home and away with the England Supporters Club during the 2000s. I also follow the New York Giants and have seen them play in London on both of their visits.

Music and film are a big part of my life too. I attend gigs regularly and have been to Download Festival every year since 2008 (apart from the Covid years), as well as Slam Dunk Festival on multiple occasions—so it’s safe to say rock, metal, and pop-punk are my go-to. On quieter days, I make good use of my Odeon Limitless membership and can usually be found at the cinema catching up on the latest releases.

Through this site, I share my knowledge on the world of golf to help golfers and non-golfer learn more about the game.
